It helps to have the following information to hand:

• Full details of the make, model and engine size(cc) of your motorcycle(s)
• The year your motorcycle was made
• The value of the motorcycle
• The engine number and chassis number of the motorcycle(s)
• The value of any spares, tools, equipment & clothing, and trailers to be insured and details of single items over £250

Yes you can, the online quoting facility will allow upto 5 bikes to be entered but you may insure as many bikes on the same policy as you wish - please contact us if you wish to insure more than 5 bikes. It usually will be cheaper to insure all your bikes on the same policy and it saves on the paperwork!

We send all policy documents by email to keep administrative costs down and reduce our carbon footprint. Documents can be posted but this will incur a £10 administration charge.

Our office hours are 9.00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday if you need assistance out of hours our insurance provider RSA have a 24 hour claims line call 0345 3004006 (property claims option 2) and have your policy number to hand.

We offer cover for UK only, Europe or Worldwide. If you wish to extend your cover to the next level simply call us during office hours on 01743 296666 and we can increase the cover immediately.

No. Our Insurance cover is designed for Off Road risks only.

No. ANY damage caused to the bike subject of the insurance policy while "trackside" is excluded.

No. Only residents of the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands and Isle of Man can apply for cover.

First you must contact the Police. They will give you a crime reference number that will be required by your insurer. You must contact us within 48 hours or the RSA claimsline if you prefer. Contact details can be found on the "how to make a claim" page.
The insurer may wish to appoint a loss adjuster to investigate the claim, this is normal. He will report to your insurer and then the claim will proceed to offer.

Yes. The policy only provides cover for bikes kept at your own premises. Cover is not available for bikes that are stored at an alternative address.

Unfortunately RSA do not offer a direct debit facility for this insurance.

Claims are settled on the replacement cost of the bike(s) less an allowance for fair wear, tear and depreciation. This is not an agreed value policy. Any additional expenditure for modifications to the bike will need to be evidenced at the time of making a claim.

Yes. Please contact a member of the Dirt Bike team on 01743 296666 to make amendments to the policy. An administration fee of £20.00 is applicable for all changes. Midterm amendments cannot be processed online.

When not at the track your bike(s) must be kept in a locked building of substantial construction secured with good quality steel chains to an immovable object. Substantial construction is defined as WALLS constructed of Brick, Stone, Concrete or Steel and the ROOF constructed of Tiles, Slate, Metal, Asbestos, Concrete or Timber and Felt Roof.

You have a legal right to cancel your policy, subject to no claims having occurred, within 14 days of receiving the full terms & conditions. A charge will apply for the period of cover provided and, in addition, we make an administration charge as detailed in our terms of business. After the 14 days has elapsed there will be no refund for midterm cancellations. If you wish to cancel a policy you must advise us in writing, prior to expiry of the 14-day cancellation period, to our usual office address.
